家長大會 – Joyce Kuribayash（趙旭婕）一年級班家長,已在上週由各班家長代表選出出任本學年家長會會長。 Joyce將在本周六（9/26）4:30 pm – 5:45 pm 於Google Meet召開本學年第一次家長大會。請大家屆時踴躍參與。

MCS 網站– Sam Taur 和 Wee Meng Teh 兩位家長義工，負責維持學校網站，今年花許多時間及心力為學校的網頁作了新的設計提供更清楚，更方便的使用。新網站將在週一（9/28）隆重登場。請大家在下週一上網體驗密西根中文學校新的網站風貌。 http://www.michiganchineseschool.org/ （網址不變）

通訊錄 – 學校即將開始通訊錄的製作。由家長義工Steven Lian負責，Iping Ku協助這繁重項目工作。如有家長住址電話有所更動，或不確定您留校的資料是否正確，請與註冊主任 Iping Ku聯絡更正。

“校友留言“ 2018年MCS畢業校友魏郁安與大家分享她在密西根大學參與的研究項目“Promoting Health Among Asian Americans”。第一個活動會議有關種族歧視和精神健康狀況，活動免費，在本周六 (9/26)下午2:00以 Zoom 方式進行。有興趣的人都可報名參加。報名的網站在附件的PDF檔內。

Parent Conference– Joyce Kuribayash, parent representative of the first grade class has been elected as the Parent Chair of this school year last Saturday by all class parent representatives. Joyce will hold the first Parent Conference of this school year at Google Meet at 4:30 pm – 5:45 pm this Saturday September 26^th. Please you’re your calendar and join the meeting. 

MCS Website – Messrs. Sam Taur and Wee Meng Teh, two parent volunteers responsible for the school website maintenance. They spent some time and effort to design a new school website that will be launched next Monday September 28^th.  Please go online next Monday to experience the new website of Michigan Chinese School. http://www.michiganchineseschool.org/ (URL remains unchanged)

MCS Directory – Mr. Steven Lian will be in charge of the MCS Directory project with assistance from Mrs. Iping Ku. If you there is any change in your contact information or if you need to confirm your information on school file,  please contact the Registration Director Mrs. Iping Ku.

School Advertising Sponsorship – Most of MCS school events/activities this year have been cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic.  As a result, the volunteer sing-up works are suspended.  Instead, it will be great help if parents can sign up to help contacting 2019 – 2020 MCS sponsors and/or developing new sponsors for our school.  Please go to the link below to sign up and learn more information on the sponsors of 2019-2020.

As a small token of gratitude, $20 per full-page advertisement or $15 per half-page advertisement will be sent to each parent who succeeds in getting any sponsor(s).   Once you sign up, please send the attached flyer (in pdf) to the business you wish to contact as the details of the sponsorship.

“Alumni Message” MCS 2018 alumna Amber Wei shared with MCS her research project “Promoting Health Among Asian Americans” that she participates at the University of Michigan. The project’s first event will be held this Saturday (9/26) at 2 pm in Zoom mode about the anti-Asian racism and mental health.  Everyone who is interested can sign up this FREE event.  The link is included in the pdf attached.  Amber will be hosting a breakout room!
