感謝訓導幹部Andy Chang和Jack Chang的規劃及所有家長老師學生的配合，防火演習順利進行結束。同時讀書月進入第三周，請學生們持續閱讀中文書籍/觀看中文影片 。
Hope all is well. With the support of our teachers, students, and families (big shout-out to Andy Chang and Jack Chang, our Director of Discipline, for their thorough planning and advance instructions) , we successfully carried out our annual fire drill exercise on October 5. As we are entering the 3rd week of the Reading Month, please continue to encourage our students to keep up the momentum of Chinese book reading and/or multimedia watching/listening. Below please find a few announcements for our 6th week of the class tomorrow.
文書Anna Lou已經完成家庭通訊錄以及班級名冊初稿，她會將初稿放置於公共區域，請每個家庭前往校稿，確認您的資訊是正確的。這周六是最後一次機會讓家長校稿。
Our documentation team, Anna Lou has completed the first draft of the family directory and classes information. She will present the draft at the public area for families to verify the information to be published in the Directory. This Saturday will be your last chance to verify your information.
豐收節(萬聖節)點心/佈置品/義工登記 (Oct 19 – Nov 2, Sign-Up Link Here)
經過家長代表們討論過後決定讓小朋友有個期待的豐收節，活動在Sat (Nov 02, 2024)舉行，我們將有遊行，萬聖節布置提供拍照。請各位家長在連結登記您將提供的點心小物和佈置用品及報名活動義工。
Donation Campaign for Harvest Festival (Oct 19 – Nov 2; Sign-Up Link Here)
With the support of our parent representatives, we are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the harvest festival event on Sat (Nov 02, 2024); therefore, we would like to seek families’ support to sign up for the “goodies” donation and/or event helper. Like previous year’s event, we will continue having a school wide parade and group photo session. We will set up a Halloween theme booth for students’ & teachers’ photos taken by class. Students are encouraged to wear their favorite Halloween costumes to school that day and enjoy the parade!

It’s that time again for our annual school directory editing/production (Big shout-out to our Documentation team led by Anna Lou and Fundraising Team Lead Jennifer Chen Morikawa) and advertising fundraising campaign. It will be greatly appreciated if parents can sign up to contact the pre-populated sponsors and/or to develop new sponsors for our school. As a small token of gratitude, a reward of $20 (for each full-page advertisement) or $15 (for each half-page advertisement) will be awarded to each parent who successfully secures the sponsorship to our school. Feel free to download the flier with detailed advertising package options to facilitate your engagement with your sponsor(s).

中文學習除了課堂上的授課，學校鼓勵學生們在課外的時間多多閱讀觀看中文讀物及影片，請各位家長陪同並協助小朋友們閱讀中文圖書和影片，詳細的說明及表格已由各班老師提供及解釋。
Chinese Reading Month (Sep 28 – Nov 2)
An approximately month-long event meant to encourage our students to immerse themselves with Chinese book reading and/or video watching in addition to their Chinese learning in class. Parents are encouraged to join your student’s reading month activities to make it a family fun event!

2024年密西根海外文化老師培訓及研習將于10-20-2024 周日下午2-5 點在安娜堡圖書舘城中分舘舉行。請查看附件文宣。
此外圖書館也開放這活動給有興趣的圖舘家庭和孩子們。2023年的文化研習（天燈及剪春字吊飾）受到大家的喜愛和熱烈反應，謝謝大家。
