全美總會今年將停辦2020年實體現場年會。2020年八月年會將採用線上比賽方式繼續主辦學生演講和多媒體競賽，為保留搶答公平起見並顧及時間的考量，將取消文化常識及成語比賽。在八月虛擬年會之前，學生線上競賽的方式分為兩步驟，第一個步驟是在6月30日之前報名並提交初賽作品，初賽被錄取的學生，可以晉級到八月八日或九日的決賽，詳情請參閱全美總會網站 ncacls.net。優勝學生將在年會 八月九日 頒獎典禮上宣布。
